Finally, just in time for us to MOVE, I have some pro shots of Emma’s completed nursery!  I am pretty happy with how this came out, and am still trying to figure out how to make some of this work in the new house – her new room can only have roman shades, and I really don’t want to chop these curtains up- so hoping I can use them in the guest room if I let out the hem and lower the mount within the pelmet….. anyways, they were a fortune so I need to work on that 🙂  But I love that the room is feminine but not expectedly so. I also re-used items from Henry’s nursery in here as well as other iterations of our guest room, which proves that if you buy things you love you can make them work anywhere!

One thing that looks incredible for sure is the wallpaper- this Phillip Jeffries grasscloth in Egyptian Blue is just stunning with it’s striations. The ceiling light and Kayce Hughes drawing are from our guest room makeover with Serena and Lily. The little side table next to the glider is the one I used for Henry too in his nursery. The little bamboo chair I found at a flea market years ago for $25. It’s certainly a high/low mix in here!

The glider/ recliner is super comfy, but the real star is this scalloped wicker ottoman with custom cushion in leftover Pierre Frey fabric from the crib. DEAD.  The rug is vintage from Linda’s Barn and I LOOOOOOVE it.  But let’s have another moment of silence for the draperies done in Kravet’s Althea print (expertly made by my dear Makkas Drapery Workroom). The floor lamp is Circa and the pillow is custom in a Brunschwig & Fils print (Etsy has some like it).

Oh the crib. I bought this RH Baby and Child crib and had it reupholstered in the Pierre Frey fabric. It’s a stunner.  And I had the lovely Kristen Blakeney paint this abstract for Emma in the colors of her room (but threw in some blush too in case I want to go that direction when we move!) The crib sheet is Schweitzer Linen ( a d. Porthault dupe). The little rattan stroller is from Olli Ella and the toile bear is deBuci  (also obsessed with the crib sheet!)

This is the bookshelf I used in Henry’s nursery and then in his big boy room (he now has a sturdier one with sides).  This thing has seen a lot of use and still is lovely and will come with us to our new home I’m sure.  I found a much cheaper dupe here.

Another shot of the crib and art– reused this little acrylic book cart from Henry’s nursery too!  The blanket is Swan’s Island.

I started out with a different chest/ changer but the drawers weren’t on glides and that made them hard to open. So I got this Frontgate caned chest and I love the 6 drawers for organization and how easy they are to open- I planned on changing the hardware to brass, but I’ve been a little busy 😉  The framed etchings are from an older version of our guest room (found at Brimfield and float mat framed by Framebridge).  My friend’s mom made this quilt for Emma (how sweet is that??) and the changing topper is so great.  Acrylic and brass organizer from PB.

It’s bittersweet to think about leaving now that I just finished.  But it’s an opportunity to keep creating.  Once I know what items from my house I’m bringing and the new owners want to buy, I will be selling the remainder to stay tuned!  I thought it would be fun to take a quick look at all this room’s iterations:

From the first book, the pink and black version of a guest room:

Then it became Henry’s nursery:

Then a guest room again:

It’s crazy how many changes I’ve made and how many lives this one little room has had!
